Meet Lambert. His creator Alaina Breed is one of the talented SCAD students we have had the pleasure of getting to know this year. Lambert will be hanging around with us through out the summer and we couldn't be more thrilled. Savannah has already become far more quiet now that the students are packing to leave. Ravelry Adventures

Ravelry! Such a wonderful source of patterns, advice and friendships. This week we had the honor to encounter a group of women who met in a Ravelry group. After months of online conversations and yarn swaps they decided that they should meet in person. So they chose Savannah. Their energy was intoxicating! I was so inspired that I have now started another shawl project. So keep us in mind for your future meet up's. We would be happy to host you for a real Savannah knit experience.  Thank you ladies!

Bias Before and After

Our favorite scarf pattern by Churchmouse Yarns. The Before and After scarf is a delight to knit. Using a single skein of Classic Elite Silky Alpaca Lace or for another version use a single skein of Habu cotton boucle. One of the most touchable samples in the shop. We are sure you will enjoy making it as much as we did!

Delightful new baby yarns from our local dyer The Copper Corgi. Our favorite is Eeyore, but Rabbits Garden and Piglet are flying off the shelves. Yes it is super wash sport weight merino yarn. Such a lovely feel.
