Welcome Back SCAD students! We here at The Frayed Knot are looking forward to cooler evenings and the arrival of new yarns! We have added new lines of Habu Textiles, unique sheep bags and Quince and Co. Make sure to check out our class schedule for new opportunities in learning.

Our SCAD students already know the joy of weaving with Habu's fabulous fibers. Yes it is thin as sewing thread, but oh so rewarding. We carry the stainless steel, copper and paper varieties. There are a few knitted examples at the shop so you can see how this delicate yarn can transform your project.

I feel  fortunate to live among such creative people in Savannah. SCAD students are constantly inspiring me to create, learn and change. I am happy to bring to you many of their talented works of art. Today in the shop we are featuring SCAD student Makenzye Burns. Her dolls will make you smile. Look for new works of art as the Holidays approach.
