Color Block Sock Kit
This little sock is a smart, comfy addition to our roster of basic sock patterns. With a super-easy short-row shaping method at the toe and heel, it’s easy to master, easy to remember, easy to start, and easy to finish! The clever construction makes it a snap to work in many different colors for contrasting toes, heels, and cuffs. We’ve had great fun playing with variations ever since.
Pick your own colors .Below are the details. You will need 3 skeins of Lang to complete a pair of socks. Make sure to select the proper amount of skeins and the pattern.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 1 (2.25mm) set of 5 double-point needles, or size to obtain gauge.
US D/3 (3.25mm) crochet hook for provisional cast-on.
1 yd/m smooth fingering-weight waste yarn for provisional cast-on.
1 locking marker.
Darning needle to finish.
FINISHED SIZES
Medium-width adult: Up to 10"/25cm foot on 8"/20cm cuff. For longer foot, knit shorter cuffs or purchase more yarn.
Note: Finished sock length should be ½"/1.25cm shorter than actual foot length measured from back of heel to tip of toe
