Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The crisp air returns and so do the students. Savannah College of Art and Design is our local art college located right here within the historic blocks of Savannah. The city comes alive with their arrival. It's a very exciting time.
Here at the shop we begin receiving our new fall/winter yarns and with each box comes an anticipation of wonderful people and creations to come.
The small sweaters above were created and given to us for display by friends and students who pass through our doorway. Each one comes with a happy memory of someone who has moved on or a smile of someone who is still knitting/spinning/weaving with us daily. They are such a treasured part of our collection. I love how each one represents the person who presented it. Our fiber community is so unique. I look forward to meeting and watching the creative process of each one of you.
